My LS1/T56 Engine/Trans Showed Up!!
Got it in today, Looks great. Is from an 02 WS6 with 19k. Engine is very clean and came with everything. Couldnt be happier. Also found out it has the LS6 Block which is cool. Now if I can only decide which cam to put in it. Thinking TR224 but later on I'm sure I will have wished I went bigger. Not touching the heads right now, maybe next year. Heres a couple pics....jt

Looks nice and clean. Can I ask how much you paid for the combo and where you got it from. It is becoming harder and harder to find the two items together as one package.

Not sure what kind of afternarket parts it has, Havent had much time to mess with it. Basicly unloaded it from the truck and took the shrink wrap off of it. I paid $4600 for the Complete engine and trans with pedal assembly, clutch hydraulics, ECM and Harness. The guy even hooked me up on deleteing some stuff from the ECM. He set it up with the following:
4.10 gears
275-40-17 tires
6600 REV limit
255 MPH limit
Fans on- 175 Off- 168
Skip shift- deleted
VATS- deleted
COT- deleted
Rear o2's- deleted
Air pump- deleted
EVAP- deleted
Fuel tank pressure- Deleted
Fuel level codes- deleted
The guys name is Lynn, his Ebay User Name is ls1_z28. I actually didn't get it off of Ebay. I was asking a question about the engine he had on Ebay and he told me what else he had. He has excellent feedback so far and was very helpful. I paid $260 for s/h and was shipped out yesterday and arrived at 10am this morning. He also sent me a pic of the car it came out of and a carfax for the vehilce. He was very upfront about everything. His email address is hoppy28@bellsouth.net.

I'm doing the TRS 224 cam on mine. Also put on some ARE heads at the same time. Its not in the car yet, so I can't give you any personal feedback about the cam, but from what I understand its the best streetable cam out there. Anything bigger and your going to have idle problems you will have to tune out.

TR224 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA or 114
CheaTR 214/230 .601/.578 117 LSA
TSP 225/225 .589/.589 112 LSA
Comp 224/228 .581/.588 113 LSA
Starting to lean more toward this one.
TSP 231/237 .598/.595 112 LSA (seems to be popular)
If I grow some bigger ***** maybe the TSP Magic Stick. someone was running it with stock heads/Intake 11.86 w/416RWHP (so they claim, I take everything posted on the Net lightly)
237/242 cant remember the lift off hand.
