I need a new engine

I was thinking about yanking my 327 out and going with something else. What I'm really searching for is a good combination with this one characteristic: You can actually feel the engine. So many cars these days are just loud and thats it. I want an engine where you can feel the rumble and vibration inside of your body. I once was at a car show where a guy started up his 67 Camaro and it was literally vibrating the ground and no he didn't just have straight headers. Thats what i'm interested in. I'm assuming I would have to have a big block. Any suggestions/combinations? Thanks

money is not a factor

edit: another good example would be when somebody drives by you and its not just loud but they actually vibrate your car and you can feel it

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Lots of cam duration, very little muffling like Bullets but full pipes, more cubes the better (doesn't have to be big block).

Tunnel ram with dual carbs would add to the image.

After all, we are after image here, right?

Yeah, I agree....and don't forget solid motor mounts for the "vibration factor" you're looking for.

Solid motor mounts are a big part of that...

I'm thinking about a 383 most likely. I don't want to go through the hassel of a big block swap, but its so tempting. A guy my dad works with said he'd sell me his 427 for $1000. Brand new rebuild two years ago, never ran. Nothing stock on it. My dad is his supervisor at work, so I think I see where hes trying to go with this

A running 1000$ 427 sounds like a good idea...

....and a great deal. You can't build a 383 for $1000. At least I don't believe.
