350 Quadrajet to 355 tpi

I have a 350 with a quadrajet in my camaro and someone want to sell me a fresh built 355 tpi. I dont know how much this worth but here are the spec

fresh bearing piston boring .030
vortec head modify to fit tpi intake
port and polish intake
24lbs inj
forged crank
roller mild cam no ruff idle
fuel pressur regulator
harness/pcm well almost the full ''rusted to death'' car


dont know how much to offert.... the engine is still in the car and it work

My 350 is fresh rebuilt put didnt realy paid alot....and have no big power its a 1976 with 882 head and a bad Quad

Red flag. Unless you have an intake (base, in the case of TPI) made for Vortec heads, it'll never be right. Kind of like porting 882 heads - pearls on swine.

Get a Vortec intake manifold for your carb, then okay. Or, spend $400 for the Scoggin-Dickey Vortec TPI base.

so this is realy bad even if a professionnal machine shop did it.....or he doesnt have vortec head

he said they modify the head to make them fit...or maybe the intake

I am gona take a look a it and see if there coolant leaking and thing like this
