Motor mounts for V-6
Just switched engines in 89 Camaro from a v-8 to V-6. Cannot get motor mounts to line up! Tried putting motor mount bolts in first and then lining up and also tried the normal way, neither is working!! Ready to pull my hair out, please help!!

I just did the opposite of what you did, v6 to v8 swap. The v8 mounts are the forward most holes on the crossmember, and the v6 ones are the back most holes on the crossmember. Also the mounts between the two engine are different sizes, the v6 ones are smaller than the v8 ones. If you need v6 ones I can sell you mine if you'd like.

I already bought new ones for the v-6. they wont line up and I have never had this much problems putting a engine in a car.

this pic should help. Also, as I found out w/the v-8 mounts, turn the mount 180*. The holes on top are wider spaced than the holes on bottom.
