wey guys im just about done with my 383 my cam has a lift of 488i/e i plan on spinning this motor up to7000 rpm im in need of an intake and im thinking or a victor jr or rpm air gap any body have any imput on theese or any other intakes would like to order one the latest tuesday

What cam did you order? Whats the rest of the build on the engine?
You'll need some very strong rods, likely a forged crank, forged pistons and a bulletproof valvetrain to handle 7000rpm...

Ran 11.6X on the run before IIRC, but a couple of the pistons came apart on the next run.
I'd spend the extra bucks and go with forged if you are building something really hot.

That sounds like it has more to do with the tune to me. Hypers are pretty strong, the problem is that theyr brittle, so they dont deal well with knock.
Anyway of course forged is better and more forgiving, if you have the money spend it.
