305 LG4 to a 350 EFI?
I have a 305 LG4 is an 86 Z28 with a manual Transmission. I have already replaced my exhaust and deleted the cats. I want to replace the engine with a 350 and have it be fuel injected because I need decent mileage. Now is there any cheap way to do and if I were to go to a junkyard how hard would it be to find a TPI setup and swap it over? Is there any easier ways or complications I should know about.

If possible, I'd suggest getting hold of a "donor car" for your TPI swap. In addition to the hardware components in the engine bay, you'll also need the fuel pump/tank, lines from tank to fuel rail and multiple new harness odds and ends that won't be present on your carbed motor (IAC, injectors, etc).
The swap itself should be pretty straightforward. The final cost will depend on how cheaply you can get the above parts......

Check out the info at

You will se exactly what it will take to do the changover. I found the site very informative on all of the "little" things that can slow you down.
Plan the "system" installation. Do not consider it to be just adding some parts.
Things will go very smooth once you have a plan.

Put a 350 under your LG4, use the money you don't spend converting to TPI to buy the extra gas the carb uses vs. EFI for the next 7 years.
