motor mounts

hey fellers another question: i'm putting a 350 in the place of my 3.1 and would like to know what motor mounts i need? do i need both upper and bottom from a v8 camaro?

yes, you will need both the mount on the frame and the clamshell that goes on the motor itself.

iirc, the front lower tabs on the v8 frame mounts will hang over the k-mbr, and yes, the break line can be moved rearward enough to clear the mounts. I did this in my ride w/o a problem (other than figuring out th eholes in th emounts & the holes in frame hint: rotate the mounts if they don't align )

guys i appreciate the help! will motor mounts froma t/a work? the local salvage has a wrecked 89 t/a that i've been taking parts from! i know i need new bushings .

yes, you'll have to grind off the rivet heads to swap in new bushings. I used my $20 oddlots bench grider, worked just fine

oops, must've been all the dust I'm inhailing... I had to grind off the rivets for the torque arm bushing, I jsut got the $10 new bushings from AZ. $20 new w/warranty is probably a better deal than the yard ones
