Well I have a 92 firebird, and unfortanetly its a 6cyl, Im not to great with cars anyway, but I'd like to drop a 8cyl in it, and convert it from automatic to stick. OR

I was also thinking, turbo the car, and then swap out the trans because mines going.

what do you think?

 

if your tranny is going and you want a V8, you will be better off swapping in the V8 and a new tranny at the same time. the bellhousing on the V6 transmissions will not bolt to an 8cyl.

then, once you have the engine and tranny worked out ....
