Does anyone know of someone in the Los Angeles area making/dealing/selling kits to swap my stock 3.1 to a Buick turbo v6? I have a 91 bird, should I even be thinking about this?

find a buick olds pontiac caddy tranny

find a donor vehicle with a buikc v6 in it and take the engine mounts and block mounted brackets and p/s pump setup and such

use all that in the bird, and a few other things from the donor car, exhaust, etc

 

I don't know if you should be thinking about this but Pontiac thought about it and the 1989 TTA Firebird was the result. Came stock with a Turbo Buick motor. Don't know much about it but if you search this forum, others have gone this route and appear to be happy to pass along information.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm new to the Thirdgen family; I used to be a Ford guy, then I woke up one day and decided to get something RELIABLE. The reason I'm thinking Turbo Buick is because I can't seem to find much in the way of performance parts for my engine (intake, headers, etc...). Anyone know of a good place? If not, I think the Buick might be my best best. Thanks again.
