I will be soon swapping a 400hp 355 into my 87 firebird and removing the 305. My question is will my distributor wiring hook up to the new motor's HEI coil in cap distributor? My 305 has the remote mount coil. I also have a msd 6a ignition box on the 305 which has a harness that plugs int the remote mount coil. Is their anything else I need to know about switching motors? Im running a holley street avenger 570cfm carb right now on the 305. The 355 is in a truck now hooked to a 4speed manual, my car is a 700r4. any help appreciated
