94-96 LT1 ?s

ok my fathers got this 94 lt1 Vette motor in his 31 chevy that jus sh*t the bed... we got this 96 camaro lt1 to take its place. our question is... do you need to change computers, and we also want to change from the TH400 to a 700R4 so we need a kickdown throttle body. we have a few TBs also lol so here r the pictures.

1994 vette TB

1996 Camaro TB

BBK 94-97 TB

those connections on the BBK TB... which one is the kickdown connection and can u even use that TB??

Call a place that sells used LT1 engines and ask them. They will probably be able to help and sell you any needed hardware.

1st pic is a 94-97 style without cruise control, 2nd is 94-97 style with cruise control, 3rd pic is 93 style but can work with 94-97's. The 93 has the extra tab for the TV cable for the 93 non-computer 4l60 transmission. On the third pic(BBK) the top one tab is where you would connect the tv cable.

Keep the 94 LT1 computer, 94-95 is obdi and is easier to program and with a tune will yield about 10 more hp over the 96-97 computer with the same engine.

And read the info on this link for 700R4 with 94-up LT1:

Ah from one car fan to another we need to help each other out. Rules are meant to be broken J/K

Seriously .. i would just slap that engine in ... swap over the pcm and harnness and call it a day. you really only need the lt1 long block anyway from the sounds of it.
