cooling help after 305tbi to carb'd 383 swap
my car was originally a 305tbi. i put a 180* thermostat and fan switch in. i reciently picked up a 383 and im really confused on the cooling system. its going to be carbed. the intake manifold has a hole for an aftermarket cooling sensor the guy told me im just lost on what to do. should i put my 180* thermostat back in? and do i even need the 180* fan switch anymore? any help would be apreciated thanx

I used the hole on the front of my edelbrock manifold for my temp gauge (autometer), and the hold on the driver side head for my elec. fan switch. Before I had the elec. fan switch, I bought an adjustable fan switch thingy that still worked pretty well. Im running a 190 thermo and I havent had any problems so far
