I'm about to make my swap...what am I forgetting?
Going from a TPI 5.0F to a TPI 5.7, T5.
Going to use Edelbrock E-200 heads, vortec intake, ported SLP runners and plenum, 22lb injectors, disable my
EGR, base motor is an L31 vortec, cam is a Comp Cams XR276HR, with 1.6 CC magnum rollers, Hooker 2210's,
etc. Obviously, I'll have to do a custom chip, but I'm getting a 5.7 knock sensor, and a 5.7 ESC module. I'm also
using a Holley AFPR. What am I forgetting?

reusing starter from T5? I guess that block is drilled for it.
Got a damper (one from 305 or 350?)
Got a flywheel (reuse old one?)?
Sounds like you got most everything. Heads are assembled? Got roller lifters and pushrods?

Dampner....I'd like to run a TCI or Fluiddampner, but which model? Fluiddampner doesn't answer their e-mails...would I get one for the 98+
chevy truck, since that's what this replacement motor allegedly fits?

You get one for a 350. An 8" generally.
I think the only thing that every changed on dampners is with the LS1 (I just checked summit, that appears to be the consensus). So they show '96 and newer as using an LS1 dampner. Your Vortec 350 isn't an LS1 as far as I know. But I don't know squat about newer motors.

I didn't know if because it's externally balanced, because it's a one-piece rear main, that the balancer would be different....
