Just wondering what heads you think would work best with me rebuilding my L98 with the LT4 Hot Cam and including the mods in my sig? I want to stay with my intake so I want to stay away from Vortec/Fast burn heads. I was thinking maybe AFR195s any othe ideas?????????????

Trick Flow 23 degree heads are the best bang for the buck. AFR 195's are better but are also a lot more expensive.

 

If you talk to AFR they will probably tell you to get the 180cc heads but if you ever upgrade to a 383 you could use the 195s.Not that the 195s won't work but when I called AFR they recommended the 180cc for almost all street driven cars under 383 cubes.They also told me that unless your running a bigger cam over 224duration in a 383 that the 180cc will only give up a 5-10hp and gain 30+ftlbs of torque.But yes the AFR heads 180cc or 195 are the best heads if you can afford them.I have seen guys drop almost a half a second of the 1/4mile times by just bolting them on.Doesn't mean this will happen for you but they are serious heads for a street car.
