305 - 350
ive heard that GM didnt make firebirds and cameros with 350s in them if they had t-tops, because they warp the chassis, is that true or just rumors. and if it isnt true would it be worth it to switch from a 305 tbi to a 350tpi?

Two words: "Subframe connectors".
305, 350, 2.8, hardtop, T-tops - doesn't matter. Get subframe connectors installed. Solves any and all issues of body flex assuming you get decent ones and properly install them.
(FWIW, I don't know the "correct" answer to the 350/T-tops question, but off the top of my head I'd say it's false - i.e., you could get a 350 in a T-top car. Just not with a T5. . .)
