bellhousing bolts
im just about to pull my motor, but im stuck,, everything is out including 5 of the 6 bellhousing bolts, i tried a 1/2 swivel right after a short socket and didnt work at all (worked for the oen below tho)
do i have to use an air ratchet? i dont even think that will work because a ratchet wont fit in, and to my knoledge airtools are bigger than hand tools.
i really dont feel like pulling a tranny out either.....
any secrets? do i have to order some dam tool from japan that cost 800 bucks or what???????! im soooo frustrated, it was sopposed to be out an hour ago, my hands are cut up and greased up because gloves are to big for any space in a thirdgen!

I think I used a swivel with a 3" extension. Maybe 2 swivels and a handful of extensions.
I have scrawny hands though, that might be why it's easy for me.
Where are you at?

bolts
i have done a few of these and because they give you like no room between the fire wall and the bolt head at the top two i used a box end and used another wrench as a cheater. tom p.s. getting them back in is just as much fun

I can get all but the bottom 2 with ease from the top. My motor seems be be farther forward than my friends camaro's tho, maby the v8 mount holes in the v6 crossmember is alittle farther forward.
