It would be exactly as hard as any other V8 swap, as detailed in all the stickies that you no doubt have already read before posting this extremely redundant question.
Yes it will be fine with a 700; but not the one you have. You'll need a V8 one. Again, as detailed in the stickies, which were designed to prevent this question from being asked over and over like it used to be several times every day.

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
If the heads are original 327, there is about an 8 to 1 chance they won't have the accessory mount bolt holes on the end of the heads like 3rd gen V8's have. Can make accessory mounting "challenging".
