taking block to machine shop, what should be done
i have a 350 block already bored .30 over but seems to still be in great shape, i can still clearly see the honing marks. anyway i want to build a 383 with it. when i take it to the machine shop what all should i have them do? i was thinking, hot tank, bore another .10 with torque plat if needed, and install cam bearings. since its a 383 i guess i also need to get them to clerance the block unless its not something to awefully hard to do then i can. i also want to do a half block fill, is that something they need to do too or can i do it? thanxs for the help.

You can clearance it yourself with a die grinder. Don't bother filling the block, you won't need it.
