i have 1990 rs v8 camaro with 305 700r4 if i put 1976 350 and long tail trans in it i know i will have to swap the gas tank which wire on the coil do i need to put a hei distributor in it will my key still turn the engine over and will the computer affect my factory security system thanks

 

Why do you think you need to swap the gas tank?

The pink coil wire is the one that you would hook to a non-computer large cap coil-in-cap HEI distributor. The white wire goes to the tach terminal.
