ok i know that this is a forum for f body, and i have an sonoma, but i am working on a swap with a 96 lt1. i have the motor in and wired up but having issues with getting it to run. motor ran a couple weeks ago and then i turned it off, and adjusted the y pipe so i could hook up the rest of the exhaust. no i have a problem with it backfiring in the intake. it will turn over but it won't start. so far i have check coil/icm, plugs. wires, opti, injectors, and valve train. still no luck. i tried posting on s10forum but they don't have a whole lot of people there with v8's let alone ltx's. on the other note the motor is from a 96 9c1 caprice, if that helps any. any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks
