Well, I guess thats the great thing about a v8 powered Chevy, you've got a LOT of motor choices. A boneyard build is defintely an option. For me, the Fastburn 383 is looking like a great street/strip motor, lots-o-torque and built strong.

For decent power on a budget, yearOne seems to have some good deals on their 350 crate engines.

but anyways i have a mild 327/th350 and i frickin love it

blow the doors off ls1 cars and they ask if i have a 383......thats when i rain on their day and tell them i have less cubes than them.......327 powa

Well, to be honest, I don't know how to make it into a stroker engine, but my father does and has been talking about doing it anyways, so let me talk to him and I'll let you guys know... who knows, maybe you will do it too.

I already said how to make a stroker out of it. Put a 350 crank & pistons in it.

Or, a 3.75" stroke crank with appropriate .030" over pistons, and you'll have a 383.
