89 V6 to 350 wiring
89 V6 to 350 wiring
The original owner was a f**ktard and screwed up a bunch of stuff on this car.
He cut the wring harness in several places.
To try and keep it fairly clean and simple under the hood, can I use an 82-86 carbed wiring harness in place on the one I pulled out?
Otherwise, I will prolly opt for a Pianless harness.
TIA

What are you putting in with the 350?
If you go with an old-school carb, you'll probably find that what you need is still available.

You'll need coil power wire, tach wire, alternator wiring, gage wiring (oil pressure, engine temp). That stuff comes from the driver's side of the engine compartment.
Any idea what was chopped, and what's still there?

All the wiring from the firewall bulkhead connector was still there. What he cut came from the ECM side and was near the core support and looked like it went from the right side over to the front near the center of the radiator.
