Ive got a small block 350 and heads out of a 77 el camino, looking to do it as an lg4 build with this block, gonna be done as a budget build, meaning a little at a time, what do you suggest as a start for this, what cam and so on?

 

I suggest starting with some cylinder heads that are actually worth a damn. Yuo should keep the LG4 heads from your 305, that's a great start. The next thing is to get a retrofit roller kit for your engine with those aftermarket lifters that have the link bars on them.

From there, it's up to your budget...
