HI to all I have a 1989 rs whit v6 2.8 ,the enguine is in very good conditions but i want to put a 305 v8 from the same model or year what mod do i have to do ,the trany is a t5 do i need to changed please help me for this project

ok thanks for this link but I think i'm going to sell the car then and try to ged a 1995 v6 or maby get 3.4 engine and try to swap this one

 

From what I understand hanging around 4th gen guys, doing any engine swap in those cars is a bigger waste than it is on ours, unless you're building a track-dedicated car. Word from them is go ahead and upgrade what you've got, but if you want a different engine than what's in there, sell the car and get one with the engine you want.
