Re: V6 to V8 Swap

Im swapping out my 2.8 V6 in my Firebird and I was wondering if a 350 from an 85 Suburban will bolt up to my 700R4 tranny...?

Re: V6 to V8 Swap

I am going with the 350...I was asking about my transmission, whether it will bolt up or not. I was told it would...

First, read the V6 to V8 sticky in the top section of this forum (the one that says to read it before posting new). You'll see that your V6 TH700R-4 will not bolt up to a V8.

Second, maro_of_the_92 was referring to the original poster and his 305.

Third, don't hijack someone else's topic when you have a question. If your comment doesn't relate to the original topic in the thread, start your own thread.
