Well here is my problem I bought a 1991 that I was going to fix up It did not start and the starter was jamed so I took a look under the car and I saw no signs of any major damage so I bought it well when I removed the starter I found a out ward den in the oil pan and a hole well the motor threw a rod (so much for people being honest when selling something, the guy said he parked it running, right sure you did)

Anyways here is my question a friend of mine has a 350 that has been freshly rebuilt and has a xe265h comp cams and the heads have been pocket ported, the only thing is that the heads are the carb stile heads, I was wondering if I could still use the older heads with my tpi intake, I herd that you could but you would have to drill out the intake manifold holes to bolt it down??

I also have a sb 400ci that I could rebuild and use or could I ??

What would be a better choice ??

It is a z28 so tpi 350ci, I was thinking of going with "pcm for less" for the tuning job, are they good???

What about the tpi intake to the older carb heads? what mods do I need to do to the tpi intake manifold to make it work with the carb heads???
