68' 327 doesnt have a spin on oil filter! Help!

I am putting a 1968 327 which has a very recent rebuild on it, but the oil filter is new to me. It uses a bolt on monster filter. I was told I could take the spin on portion off of the stock 305 out of my 84 T/A and put it on the 327, but the bolt holes do not line up. Is there a cheap/effective way to convert the 327 to a spin on oil filter or do i need to continue using the old style filter? If so, what is the best source for the old filters?

thanks!

Summit and Jegs have oil canister to spin-on filter adapters for these early engines.

Are you sure it's a '68 327? Does it have the same journal sizes as a 350?

'67 should have been the last year for the canister filter. Even the Nova V8's got the spin-in before that.
