I think you will get some help if you go back and edit your post.

It is one big run on sentence that seems to resemble a crossword puzzle.

Well, I hope that you didn't remove the 91 speedo electric connection because to get the speedo working you most remove the tail shaft out off your old 91 transmission and remove the metal speedo gear out of the output shaft. Then do the same on the 87 tranny wich it's plastic. Install the metal gear on the 87, also remove the magnetic pickup out of the 91 tail shaft and install it where the cable and gear goes on the 87. Reconnect the electric plug from your old harness in to the magnetic pickup.

Re: tpi swap help needed

You might need the VSS Buffer. 90-92 TPI cars had it built into the ECM (not sure if the V6 and TBI cars had in the ecm or not).

Do you have access to a scanner to see if the ECM is getting a speed reading from the trans?

Re: tpi swap help needed

I'll look in my service manual for the schematic and post a picture of it.
It will be late tomorrow night.
I just finished swapping out my clutch master cylinder and am about to jump in the shower then hit the sack (shot two weddings today and finished up my car. I am beat.)
tomorrow I'll be getting up early for the autocross (be there at 7:30am), then off to a birthday party/cookout.
