Well first let me start by saying what i have. I own a 91 Z28, it was originally a 305 tpi but i now have in it a 350 tpi .30 over. it also has a comp racing cam, new roller rockers, msd distributor, and accel ignition components.
The problem that I've been having is that i cant get the car to run smooth. The Idle is all over the place, and when i accelerate the engine pulses. Its almost like a misfire. but i try resetting the timing and get it running smooth and after some driving it starts pulsing again. I have checked all my fuel injecters and they all seem to be good. I'm not really sure what to look for here. Any Ideas? thanks

 

did you get a tune? because if you didnt i can almost gaurante that thats the problem. the speed density cars dont like mods at all.

 

No i didnt get it tuned. I wasnt quite sure if i had to do that. but ill take it to a speed shop around the area here and see if they can tune it for me. i had my o2 sensor unhooked too, i put a new one in and the idle got better, but its still not smooth enough to make me happy. so ill have it tuned, thanks.

one more thing too, im gonna be puttin a supercharger in, do you think ill have to make any more ecm/computer changes? this is my first car with a computer so im still learnin

 

im sure a tune is all you need. you can prolly get away with a mail order tune from pcm for less. itll run you around 200 bucks for it. as for the supercharger. you will most deff need to get it tuned again when you put it on. youll also most likely need to make some fuel upgrades to.
