cracked piston?

cracked piston?
sorry if in the wrong section but anyway.
Block is 1969 327. It had a blown head gasket and when pulled apart found what looks like a crack or some sort of damage on top of the piston. I am not sure if it would be ok to put it back together and run for few months lightly at low rpms or do i have to get it rebuilt. I can get newer 350 out of 87 trans am with upgraded cam and low miles for $500.
