help with motor pick
got a1988 iroc motor went mad. looking for somthing new on a buget, thought about a 98 5.7 vortec with a holly stealth ram i know i will proble have to change the cam. help or sugestions would be great. O an im running nos on it. an what is the best tunner i can use a laptop with. new to all of this an it is nice to meat everyone.

Actually, you could run the truck cam for a while. 255 HP at 4600 rpm isn't bad, compared to stock TPI 350s.
If you're not insisting on power past 5500 rpm, cam choice is easy. It's from COMP, it's not the latest, but it is proven. 210/220-112 480/480. It'll want valvesprings.
If you want more, then that's beyond the scope of what I've tried.
