wiring speed senser

I made the v6 to 5.7 tpi swap in a 88 camaro. Just wandering how to hook up the speed senser.The new harness has the wire for the senser going through the drivers side. The old harness didnt have it . The old trans was a 5 spd. Any help would be great. Thanks
