2.8 time has come 350 tpi soon to see
well i really dont have a question to say but would like input. i have been off the 3 gen board. work on my 1971 ss el camino. well any ways i have a 1986 camaro 2.8 i have had it for 6 years. my dad had it sents 1990 . it is my dayley driver well it has 2xx,xxx miles . now we got a knock over the past few day . so i figger long over dew for a v8. heres wthat i have to work with a 1989 truck 350 83,xxx miles, 350 intake , fuel rail , 350 fuel injcter , radiator , duel fan set up , ecm and pro , long tube 350 camaro headers , and prttey much aww the parts i need but my 700r4 . but any ways this will be my first camaro v6- v8 swap done alot of s10 but never a camaro. but any ways i did read the v6-v8 swap on the board so got all that info . so any ways i just want to see what ever one has done and wat to look out for and some do's and don'ts . only question i really have is can i use thw wireharnes or do i neat a v8 one , will i nead to install a new fuel pump . ? but let me knoww what ever u know thank you

depends on what fi system u have, the v6 was fi so the pump could work, dont imagine it flowing enough for gogs of power, but it will have the pressure. there are thing you could use off the old harness, but you will need to add a new pcm for the v8, or just goto carp and a sump in the tank.
