305 to 350
I have a 305 TPI and I plan to swap for a 350 TPI. Will it be just a simple swap of the engine? Or do I need to swap anything else out to go with the 350?
And also if I have a cold air intake on the 305, can it be used with the 350 as well?

A new knock sensor, injectors and PROM would be a good idea. You can use your cold air intake with the 350.
Re: 305 to 350
I too am planning on swapping the block and heads on my 86 TA. But my question is this. What type of blocks and heads can I use. This is my first TPI, but I am not new to mechanics or GM. Can I use any standard 350 block? Seems like the heads dont have the different angle. I have a 350 I built with a Scat rotating assembly, Comp Cam, and some basic aluminum heads. It was originally intended for my offroad truck. But I have been contemplating putting it in my TA. Other than the injectors, PROM, and (why a new knock sensor by the way?) knock sensor, will that motor work for my application?
