305/350
I have a 88 firebird just want opinion on what to do it has a 305 but was wondering if i should keep that motor and build it for power if its worth it or swap it for 350 any info would help

You can start with things like headers and exhaust. That'll give the 305 some more power, but you can still use them with a 350 later.

Last year i found a page were Lunati had a 305 build with a few part variations upping the power and price, but i can't find the web page now. Luckily i wrote down one setup. Lunati used '96-'97 L31 Vortec truck heads p/n 12558060; Edelbrock super victor intake; Holley 750cfm double pump carb; Comp cams X-treme energy hydraulic flat tappet cam grind number XE262H-10; Hedman street headers; and MSD hei fire distributor. Was going to do this build myself but i'm opting to do a 350 stroker to 396 build. Hope this helps.
