Pulling L98/700R4 Out of '91 Z28

I need to pull the engine/transmission out of this car. I have an adjustable engine load leveler that I would like to use but I am not sure of where on the engine would be a good place to bolt it up to. The TPI plenum and runners are in real good shape and I don't want to damage them, or the distributor, either.

Can anyone offer some suggestions and/or pictures?

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

Best bet is to remove the plenum, runners and distributor before pulling the engine. Then you can attach the load leveler chains to the front & back of the heads.

Keep an eye on your transmission cooler lines when pulling it. It will help to have the rad and A/C condenser out of the way. I left my condenser in, and didn't notice my tranny lines digging into it until it was too late.

With the load leveler, (other than the tranny lines) everything came out really easy. Putting it back in seemed a bit more difficult with headers and all. My engine lift boom was just a touch too short to keep things easy going back in, things needed some persuasion.

My load leveler got in the way of the cowl.

Or, vice versa. . .
