Please walk me thru this. 305 tbi to 350 carb conversion

Im installin a carbd 350 into my 1988 camaro that was orginially a 305 tbi 5speed. Ive never done a conversion like this before because im pretty new at this. I got some buddies helpin me out but they said i should check with some of the guys on here that have done it before and tell me what to do. Im going to using this car as a daily driver so i really dont want too many problems. I would really appreciate the assistance.
Specs: 350 bored 30 over.
Weiand hi rise intake
Eldebrock electronic choke 750 carb
5 speed trans ( searching for reasonable one with all accessories (bellhousing, clutch, crossmember, flexplate, pressure plate, etc.) ) [p.s. i have a freshly rebuilt 700r4 with approx. 1000 or less miles that i will trade for everything!]

There is a tech article linked from the thirdgen.org homepage on the carb conversion.

No problem with the driveshaft.

Thanx. also went outside and checkout my headers that i just purchased from summit. they are summit's brand made for the the 3rd gen camaro that cost like $9o. i placed them on top of the original exhaust of my car( as if they were going to be bolted up) and they look like they sit up way too high in the car. anyone else ever noticed this. or could explain this too me
