305 to 350

I have a 1987 Iroc-Z with a 305 TPI and 700r4. I want to put a 350 TPI from a 1989 Corvette.

Just wondering if my transmission will fit with that engine.

And if you think I'll have any other problems please let me know.

Patience, Grasshopper. We don't get paid to sit here and answer questions. . .

Yes, your transmission will fit. However, the Vette oil pan doesn't work in an f-body, so you'll need to change that and the oil pump/pickup. It would probably be easiest to change over to your '87 accessories as well.

Reason I asked is the '89 has aluminum heads and an externally plumbed EGR system.

I'm going to use a lot of my old engine's parts. The guy gave me 2 set of heads, aluminum ones and some other one's. What is the plumbed EGR system?
