need help with heads and cam

I'm in the process of ordering stuff for my 92 formula and i need some help finding the right head/cam combination. I'm looking to reach between 400-450hp. I'm going to be building a 383 stroker for it. i currently have the rotating assembly from eagle specialty (part #b13405e030) I would prefer heads from RHS, edelbrock, and comp cams. i would also prefer a cam and lifter set form lunati, edelbrock, comp cams or crane cams. the reason i want these companies is because i work at an automotive store and they carry these brands. I would also be able to put them on layaway :-D

Re: need help with heads and cam

Edelbrock has a good heads/cam package that made roughly 400 horse on a mild 350 in Chevy High Performance (I know it's just a magazine) but they are a good flowing head for a decent price. The heads were the performer rpms (190cc/2.02/1.60) but I don't remember the cam specs. Prolly upwards of the 480 lift mark
