Question about motor mounts for V8 swap.
Question about motor mounts for V8 swap.
So, I decided to swap out the old 2.6L V6 engine from my 1985 Camaro with a 350 Small Block. My question is, what kind of motor mounts do I need to mount it on the Camaro? Are V6 motor mounts different from the 350? What do I have to do to mount it in there? And also, is there a certain crossmember or mount that I need for the tranny? I have a 350 tranny as well.

Most of the info you need is there.
A Th350 will work. You will need a new driveshaft though, unless you are using a long (9"?) tailshaft model.
