v6 cc to v8 non cc swap

father son 89 rs v6 2.8 to 350 v-tech non cc swap. Engine's built need info on how to wire up non cc distributor. I saw a thread on this a while back but can't find it now, anyone got any info???

The pink wire that originally went to the coil is the switched ignition power. There should also be a white wire for the tach.

What kind of distributor are you using?

thanks for the info.distributor is factory hei from 78 350 with summit street/strip upgrade.

IIRC, you should just be able to connect those to the terminals on the HEI coil. Tach goes on the connector the rear of the car and Battery goes to the connector towards the front of the car on the coil.
