My 3.4 swap
First let me say, I'm 16 years old and this is my first car. It had 164k miles on it. So far I've swapped in a 3.23:1 9bolt rear with disks in it. This is my first engine swap in a car, and Im currently doing one in a motorcycle that I'm building for a neighbor. I know most of my stuff when it comes to cars. The 2.8 engine I (with the help of my dad) pulled, I spun a bearing in. My dad helped me out and bought me a 3.4 for a wrecked 95 Camaro. He's also been a mechanic for probably 35+ years.
I had the 2.8 out within 2 days ( probably actually about 12 working hours all hand tools ) We switched everything from the old engine to the new except the waterpump, heads, and oil pan.
Right before it was pulled

Pulled

So far I have the new engine in and the passenger side header on. I have to bolt up the driverside of the bellhousing and get a new oil pressure sensor I believe ( my dad knows and is getting it)
Tomorrow I hope to have it running and I'll have a bunch of pictures.

Re: My 3.4 swap
Got the new engine and running. I had to take off the headers since none of the brackets fit like on the manifold. Tomorrow I got put on the Intermediate pipe and the alternator. Fill it up with anti-freeze and I'm good to go.

I'll have a better picture tomorrow
