Car: 2001 Z28, 85 IROC, 99 Silverado
Engine: 350, 400, 5.3
Transmission: Automatics
swapping my stock 6cylinder to a 350...
my 6 cylinder 92 camaro is fuel injected and i am swapping motors this weekend and putting a 350 in but this one is carborated. are there any big differences or anything different i should do?

i did the same swap on my 91, its a basic straight forward job, i recommend using a 700r4 over a 350 turbo so that your speedo will read normal without changing it, just make sure you use the drive and driven gears from your 700r thats in it with the v6. you can use your oil pressure sensor from the 3.1 on the 350 also and plug right into for oil pressure, coolant sensor is the same also. the thing i didnt even fix was that the tach reads for a v6 rather than a v8 and will not read accurately, u can do some math and figure what your 350 is at cause its proportional to what its reading as a v6, or you can get a v8 guage for it.

also this makes it not necessary to use most of the harness that remains and the computer, but before you start eliminating things get the motor running and check that all your accessories on the car is working still
