engine swap confusion

hey everyone i was just courious on what is exactly needed to swap a from a 305tpi to a 350tpi i found alot of posts on 305 to 350 swaps but i dont see any directed swapping from a existing tpi engine

What year is the 305 TPI?

'85-'89, you'll need to change the knock sensor and module. It would probalby run a little better if you put 22 lb injectors in as well. Some PROM tuning usually helps (helps a 305), but isn't absolutely necessary.

'90-'92, same as above but PROM changes are absolutely necessary.

its a 88 iroc with a 305 tpi (mass air flow) right now im working on the trans but once this is over the 305 has got to go lol so im just trying to see what im getting myself into

i agree with five7kid

change out the knock sensor items, bigger injectors and change out the ecm or the prom.
