350 vs. 6.0L

Hey guys I have a 350 engine with only 20k miles on it 9:1 cr stock heads. I have a set of fully ported/polished big valve vortecs that I just got out the machine shop that I havent put on yet. The engine already has a 280h cam and before the cam swap the engine was rated at 310HP with a RV cam in it. So after the mods to the 350, I am expecting about 425 HP with 10:1 cr with 750 eddy. Already have everything for the swap just not the time right now. My question is - Do you think a stock ls2 6.0L from a escalade will out run me through the 1/4. With the ls2, we changed the cam and it now has a holley 750 DP on it, thats it. I have both engines but the 350 is already in the car and the ls2 sitting in the garage to go in my other caprice.

Both cars have a b&m torkmaster 2400, both carbed with 750s, but the 350 has the vortec rpm air gap and they are the same exact cars with 700r4s. Which would be faster through the quarter.

Need more details about the LS2 cam.

In general, all other things being equal, LSx heads will kill most any SBC, including one with Vortec heads.

My ls2 has the Comp XFI hyd roller cam in it.

So you think those 6.0L ls2 heads are better than these fully worked ported/polished big valves vortecs.

When the engine was in the caddy, the caddy couldnt stay close to the caprice and I didnt even have the 280h or the vortecs then.

As I said, "All other things being equal".
