305 to a 350?

305 to a 350?
Lookking at doing this should I have a 87 or newer 350 center bolt heads, one or two piece rear main which way to go help me please. I got a block with 15K out of a 88 for $350 minus the heads.

Get '87-later heads for a 350, such as World S/R Torquers. Everything else will work from your 305.
Might as well put a nice cam in the 350, and at least roller-tip rockers while you're at it. Does your 350 shortblock have a roller cam?

That's good. You could have gotten ahold of a '88 truck 350 that wouldn't be roller or have as nice a cam.
The aftermarket roller cams are a bit more pricey, but worth it in the long run.
Looks like you've got a good start on a nice project. To further help your 350, porting the plenum and bumping up the regulator pressure (or 22 lb injectors) would produce nice benefits. Better flowing exhaust to your cat-back also. Good luck!
