I am thinking about buying another thirdgen and selling my vette. I was thinking about it the other day and realized that putting a new 502 into a thirdgen would be sweet. Now I have to pass a sniffer test on the dyno here but have no visual. Could a big block be made to pass emissions? I think it could but would require the use of fuel injection. I would use the accel big block system. The thirdgen would be originally a carbed car so the emissions would not have to be great. Also the exhaust probably would be a custom true dual setup with two cats to be used only for emissions. I have heard of a person using a big block and passing emissions by using dfi. the only emmision control device that would be used would be the cats. What do you think? Thanks.
