Thinking about "the switch"

Hey, I have a 305 TBI, and now that I have had the car for like 6 month,s I'm ready for more power. When I bought the car, I didn't know what a 305 was to a 350, so it didn't matter to me. Now I know a little bit more, and I was wondering if anyone has done the engine swap process. I am certainly not a mechanic, so I would be having someone install it for me. What would I have to do to get it done? Also, what would be the overall total of the complete 305 TBI to 350 TPI? Thanks all

Likewise, I am sure that I would have to have someone else do it, but I've heard that there is like a 100 HP difference between the two engines. I already have a cat-back and intake, but it's an edelbrock TBI intake, so I'd have to get a new one, but that'd be O.K, for 100 HP? I wouldn't miss it that much.
Thanks
