LB9 motor swap

i have the LB9 305 tpi 5 speed in my 92 b4c
it has 180,345 miles on it so its about to come out.anyways i have a 350 long block out of a 95 suburban that im going to replace it with the only problem is the 350 is not roller so will this be a problem with the distributer gear or will it stab. if i have to replace the gear does anyone no wich one to use and were i can get it

um......GM put rollers in all V8s starting in 87. I'm sure your 95 suburban has roller lifters....maybe I'm wrong...but...

i thought it would be roller too but its definetly not a roller motor

my friend and i pulled the motor out of the suburban ourselves and tore it down and its not roller we were just as confused

Maybe it's not the original engine? Pretty werid cause it should be...

As has been said many times on these boards, not all trucks received the roller cams. However, the block casting typically has the bosses for the roller equipment, they're just not drilled & tapped..
