I have a 1986 Camaro. It is just a vanilla Camaro, not an RS or anything. I know its a V8 but I'm not sure if its a 305 or 350. How can I tell?

Well I guess to start off they did not put any 350s in or third gens till 87 but it could have been changed in that case you will have a bit of a problem getting to the #'s being that they are located on the back of the block.
